Nepal has ended its 240+ tryst withy monarchy and entered into a period that will firmly establish the country as the newest Republic of the world. The process is already underway. Like all changes that took place in history this ongoing change has its share of teething problems. Despite doomsday prophets who predict a return of the monarchy, fragmentation of the country or a military takeover, the country will sooner or later get a new constitution, resolve the combatant's issue, and hold general elections. Today the country sees three main political actors, the UCPNM, the NC and the UML. The immediate future of the country hinges on the performance of these parties and how they deal with the most crucial issue on hand-the economy. No matter how big we think or talk the most basic issue confronting the common man is a stable economy. The main political actors may in the short run may, be able to sway people with catchy slogans and temptations they know they cannot deliver, but in the long run people will trust the party that puts the most money inside their pockets. This is a universal political fact.
Scott Peterson now sits in San Quentin State Prison in California. He is there serving a sentence which will ultimately end in death by lethal injection once his appeals run out. He is serving this sentence for murder of his wife, Laci Peterson, and his unborn son, Conner, who he reported missing on Christmas eve, 2002. At first, this case seemed like it was more of a missing person case, not necessarily a murder case, and Scott was initially definitely not a suspect as Laci’s family and friends stood behind him and maintained their belief that he was innocent. It was not until other matters came to light that they began to question Scott’s involvement in the disappearance of Laci, which eventually led to Scott being where he is today.
Afghanistan has been in a continuous state of civil war since the 1970’s. As is known, war affects all aspects of life. The Afghan war has affected billions of people worldwide and quiet possible has had its biggest effect on the children of Afghanistan. About half of the country’s population is under the age of 18, which means 15 million children. Out of that 15 million, 5 million are under the age of 5 (UNICEF). The children of Afghanistan lead dangerous and tortured lives because of these wars. Afghanistan lacks proper child labor laws, health and nutrition programs, and the education that is necessary for these children to grow into civilized citizens of their country.
Every one of us probably used public transport once in his lifetime. If it was a train a bur or a subway, we have to pay for it, but is that really necessary? It is a theme, which is often discussed, but I am convinced that if public transport is free we would have a better world. It should be free of charge to give everyone the opportunity to get to their destination.
There are many species in the world. The majority of them lived in bodies of water and many are on land. But these living organisms have been threatened and others have been extinct because of habitat change due to shifting climate. Scientific methods have been applied by major scientists to prove that from the last two hundred years, the earth’s temperature began to increase steadily on a rate of 1 Fahrenheit per century. Society believes that this issue is not a true concern. But in reality, the heat that’s being trapped in the atmosphere causes climate changes to occur. These sudden changes make it harder for living organisms to survive. The result of burning of coal and fossil fuel, desertification, and deforestation are the reasons why the heating and changes of the earth is taking place. When will all of these man made activities end? Technology itself is not even close to solving this problem.
Legalizing Marijuana Is Beneficial
Grass, pot, weed, bud, dope, indo, hydro, and good old Mary Jane are just a few of the street terms used for marijuana. Marijuana is defined as a mixture of the flowers, stems, and leaves of the Cannabis Sativa plant. When marijuana is smoked, THC [delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol] the active ingredient in marijuana goes from the lungs into the bloodstream, which carries the chemical to all organs in the body (National Institute on Drug Abuse 1). This chemical is what causes the ’high’ people experience by inducing relaxation and heightening the senses (National Drug Intelligence Center 1). “In the Controlled Substances Act of 1970, marijuana was classified as a schedule 1 substance, which put marijuana into a class with cocaine and other such drugs” (Rawson 1). Many facts have come into perspective since this act that counter the purpose in keeping marijuana illegal. As long as restrictions are set, then the legalization of marijuana would help the medical world, the economy, and the judicial system.

When the sorrow strikes the door of heart, life seems restless with no glimpse of hope. Tears becomes dry in the ocean of eyes. Faces give no reaction. pain is what is left in the end, yet we live we die this is life but WHY?.. A supernatural force what we called as God has created this planet with some parameters, but in the greediness of having more and more has killed our moral and social values. We all have become mean, but for what we are doing so may be for our generations but do we know till that time it will be too late for them to enjoy the materialistic pleasure we have endorsed for them.
Euthanasia is the termination of life. There are different types of euthanasia. Active euthanasia is the death of a person through a direct action, in response to a request from that person. Involuntary euthanasia is the killing of a person who has not explicitly requested aid in dying (Robinson). So the question comes up, is euthanasia right? I say yes.
The Stimulus Package, or the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, is a way to help the economy by putting money into the people’s hand and let them spend on whatever they want. But is it really a good and necessary plan and is this the right time for it? Do the American people like it? The answer is definitely no, this plan is at the wrong time, wrong place, and it will not work. Why? The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 might create temporary jobs while cut many more jobs, or perhaps even create a trade war with other countries, and spend the money on the wrong things.
